About the Creator

My name is Tyler Thompson. I am a licensed real estate agent in North Carolina and a graduate of Clemson University. I created DirectoryDPA because I kept watching first-time buyers leave money on the table, not because they were ineligible, but because they did not know what programs existed in their city.

Down payment assistance programs are administered by dozens of different city agencies, county housing authorities, state housing finance agencies, and nonprofits. There is no central place to see everything available in one spot. This site is that central place.

What This Site Does

DirectoryDPA aggregates first-time homebuyer down payment assistance programs at the city level. Each city guide shows you every program available, from city-specific grants to county funds to statewide programs you can stack together. The goal is to let you walk into the conversation with a lender already knowing what you qualify for.
